= Day 18 =

The day passed unhurriedly, in Belorechensk, at Andrey's house. Today is my rest day. I sat on a bench in the yard near the house, thinking about plans for the future. Tomorrow, back to the mountains…

A burning bonfire
Was forever imperishable for its own;

And there was no firewood,
But the flame for their
Hearts blazed;

But even a conflagration
Cannot kindle a bonfire –

FISHT – THE BEGINNING
= Day 19 =

Today marks the start of my journey to Mount Fisht. This is the main goal of my stay in Adygea. I traveled through Khadzhokh with a transfer that lasted 6 hours, and during that time I managed to visit the Rufabgo waterfalls once more. This time the area was more familiar, and my backpack wasn't as heavy, so I walked quickly. I decided to do what I hadn't managed the previous time – reach the wild pear orchard.
